Hi guys, I’m Jess, the owner of Alaska Shutter Bus. While going to school part time and raising a baby and two teenagers (husband included), I was yearning for more time to be doing all things social and creative. Because of my personality type (ENFJ-A), I love being around people, making them laugh, and hearing stories from all over. I’ve always wanted to own my own business, (my friends will first roll their eyes and then tell you all about it) and when I thought of this idea for Alaska, my heart skipped a beat and I never looked back. I really hope you love it as much as I do.

If my event is inside, does the shutter bus have to stay outside?

Not necessarily! With your venues permission and enough space for entry, Alaska Shutter Bus will be there! The Bus’ dimensions are 75" wide and 85" tall and when all set up usually takes up a space of about 10’x20’. If we can’t squeeze into your venue, our open air booth can come out of the bus to set up inside!

Can I rent the bus for a photo shoot?

How far are you willing to travel?

Well of course it all depends on how Marty is feeling that day, but if the weather conditions are good he will be up for any event in the Anchorage area. If your event is outside of Anchorage, we can pack up our open air booth to bring to your event!
